I am excited to share with you that we are now under Jaz Care Corporation, my non-profit organization and we have great things in store this year! Our Young Entrepreneur Nail Tech Program is dedicated to empowering young individuals aged 8 to 15 who have a passion for nails and nail performance services. Here's an overview of what your child can expect to be involved in:
1. Events and Vendor Opportunities: Throughout the year, we will be participating in various events as vendors. This gives our young entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their skills and provide nail services to others. From little girls' events to senior living facilities, our members will have the chance to polish nails and make a positive impact in the community. While increasing self confidence in performing services one client at a time.
2. Training and Preparation: I understand the importance of continuous learning and preparation. That's why we will now meet every second Thursday from 6:30 PM to 8 PM. During these sessions, we focus on training and preparing for upcoming events. Our members will receive guidance, practice their skills, and learn about the industry. This hands-on experience will give them a taste of what it's like to be involved in the nail industry.
3. Guest Speakers and Industry Insights: To further enhance our members' knowledge and provide inspiration, guest speakers will be invited from the nail industry to share their expertise. These industry professionals will offer valuable insights, guidance, and advice to our young entrepreneurs. They will also help our members stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the nail industry.
4. Quarterly Field Trips: I believe in providing our members with diverse experiences. That's why we have planned quarterly field trips for this year. These trips will expose our young entrepreneurs to different aspects of the nail industry, allowing them to gain a broader perspective and explore new possibilities. It's a great opportunity for them to learn, network, and expand their horizons.
I am committed to creating a supportive and nurturing environment for your child to thrive in their nail tech journey. This organization aims to instill valuable skills, foster creativity, and promote entrepreneurship. I also believe that by empowering young individuals in the nail tech industry, it can help them develop confidence, leadership skills, and a strong work ethic.
To support our activities and provide the best possible experience for our young entrepreneurs, we rely on fundraising efforts. We organize various fundraising events throughout the year, such as bake sales, lemonade stands, youth parties, community partnerships and more. These fundraising initiatives help us cover the costs of training materials, equipment, field trips, and guest speakers.
